Ziptales is a fun resource that uses stories, quizzes and games to make reading a pleasure for children. 

 

 

It is an online literacy library, created by teachers, to advance a love of reading, and covers all levels from Nursery through to Year 6. It is based on the latest research about how children develop and sustain a love of reading. The Ziptales “library” was built by trained teachers with the express purpose of making reading a pleasurable and lifelong experience.

 

Ziptales is directly aligned to the National English Curriculum, and has been shown to improve children’s love of reading, and to raise their skill levels. Through library membership, parents can engage with Ziptales at home.

 

Ziptales offers you 500+ interactive stories with voiceovers, animations, games, quizzes and more to help make reading fun! This is available for free and can be accessed at the library or at home. 

Ziptales will work on any type of computer, both PC and Mac, as well as any device such as an iPad or Android Tablet.
