Celebrate Black History Month by discovering the remarkable life and legacy of Mohamoud Dualeh, a pioneering Somali journalist who first came to the UK in the 1980s and has spent most of his life in Harrow. This exhibition brings together interviews, photographs, and a visual timeline spanning five decades of Somali broadcasting, migration, and community life.
Visitors will explore stories of resilience, creativity, and community, connecting Harrow’s Somali heritage to wider global history.
The exhibition has been created by Harrow Association of Somali Voluntary Organisations (HASVO) as part of Harrow Giving's 'Stories of Harrow' project.
The exhibition runs between Saturday 25th - Friday 31st October.
