Marvellous Makers Drawing & Storytelling Workshop

Following Richard’s sold-out creative writing workshops last summer, this year we are exploring ways drawings and illustrations can help create wonderful stories. In this four-part workshop Richard guides children to draw characters and scenes and turn them into story. Tuesday 13 Aug 9:00am -10:15 online via zoom We will start by making a simple drawing and then turn it into a character. No artistic skill is required, the only thing you need to bring is your imagination. Maybe there is a story waiting to be told… Wednesday 14 Aug 9:00am -10:15 online via zoom Do you need words to tell a story, or can you do it through drawing alone? There is only one way to find out… Thursday 15 Aug 9:00am -10:15 online via zoom Sometimes the story is already there, but you need to bring it alive with some illustrations.
